HOMEOPATHY VS NUCLEAR SCIENCE: WHICH ONE IS MORE COMPLEX?

It means, if there is an existing fire and if you add some fuel to it, it will increase the fire. It’s no matter how little the quantity of the fuel is, it will increase the fire. If you add a big quantity of fuel to the existing fire, it will cause big fire. If you add little fuel, it will increase the existing fire a little. Whether the fuel is big or small, fire will simply increase! In the same fashion, most people think that the fever-causing substance will simply add to the fever. But a homeopath claims the quite opposite to this plain-eye observation. He says that a big amount of fuel will increase the existing fire; but a miniscule amount of fuel will extinguish it! Does this homeopathic assumption conform to your real life experience?

Certainly, this homeopathic assumption does not conform to our daily observations. It’s a clear contradiction. Let us try to elaborate the cure-principle of homeopathy in the abovementioned fashion. If you suffer from fever and if you take some miniscule amount of fever-producing substance such as Rhus Tox, Aconite, or Nux Vom, our common sense says that these materials will simply increase your fever. If we call this contradiction of homeopathic cure-principles as “Poison-Medicine Paradox”, there is another paradox which the medical scholars are being extremely tormented by. This is the “Dose Paradox” of Homeopathy.

Dose Paradox of Homeopathy

Going against our daily-life experience, homeopathic doctors often decrease the doses of their medicines. They often claim that reducing the dose or quantity of the medicinal substance (through potentization a homeopathic term to dilute toxic medicinal substance) increase the power of the medicine. In commoners’ eye, disease is something terrible, tremendous and life-threatening. So, they expect that the medicine also must be powerful and revengeful enough to defeat those ferocious diseases. In this fight against diseases, largeness of the quantity of medicine plays a crucial role in commoners’ perception about the strength of the medicine. For these commoners, the larger the dose is, the stronger is. So, the homeopath’s claim that the smaller is the more efficient is quite paradoxical.
